Only when I complained about our nurse did someone come over to see how my husband was. There is a severe lack of communication and an abruptness of staff.

Better communication. Clear and concise instruction and information. Real care and compassion, not just feigned smiles and false concern. I want to give commendation and thanks to a Dr Ragavan, who was the only concerned person around and who acknowledged my worries and questions and gave me a full low down on my husbands health and information on if he was to be discharged or kept in. Everyone else in the department (at the nurses station ) treated us with disdain and were ignoring me and other patients
