I arrived on tues 19th at 6pm. I totally appreciate that a&e were very busy, but in the end i was left on a wheelchair in reception for just over 10hrs. They just kept giving me morphine. 10hrs wait for the first tests to be run. In the end i needed an emergency procedure in queens on my bowel- thank god it didn’t burst!

Suggested improvements
Again, i totally understand that staff are very busy but more than once nurses would accidentally bump into me and the chair/bed i was in. And there was very little compassion displayed for the level of pain i was in. I am still grateful for the nhs services received as queens surgeons saved my life but a&e in king George’s needs a review in my opinion.
