I arrived at 11am went through a very lengthy period of assessment (which I suppose has to be done) and it was decided that I would be kept overnight. During this period of assessment I was offered tea or coffee and was kept being promised food which never aarrived, I spoke to a passing doctor at around eleven p.m. and she kindly fetched me a bowl of cornflakes. I am 86years old and twelve hours without food is not a pleasant experience.

I think the above should be addressed!
