II I did not not have a great experience. The overall visit was 13 hours. I had signed in at 6:50 PM on Monday evening. I had come in regarding a sharp chest pain. I was given an EGC scan quite quickly, which was great. However, I was seen by a doctor after 2 1/2 hours in which he did not give me the results for the EGC scan, and I had to ask him myself yet still he said he has not checked them. Then I had to have a blood test and wait for the results which was overall 5 and a half hour wait in which I had seen doctor and the results were half pending. So I had to go back and wait it’s the waiting area and then wait to be seen by another doctor (as my doctor had finished his shift- and by then there was only one doctor on call) after a lot of waiting I managed to receive my blood test and was told one was abnormal and needed to go into A&E for a scan and the doctor said they will let you know the next stage ( he was not very helpful at all) and again I had to ask what my EGC results were as the doctors did not inform me. Overall I had my scan at 6.15 am the next morning and was discharged at 8.15am - doctors said it was nothing serious and did not advise any kind of aftercare or medication apart from - to come back if pains get worse.

Suggested improvements
I wished that the communication from the doctors were better and whereas I did not have to ask them repeatedly about if my results were ok. As I was quite stressed out and waiting alone in the waiting area. Also if there were more doctors on duty people could have been seen more quicker. Doctors did not give aftercare advice just to come back in if pains worsen. Overall, need more staff and a lot better communication skills.
