The Dr in charge was very understanding and helpful
Treated really well
The nurses were excellent. Even those at the end of a long shift were patient and caring.
I am afraid I did not behave as well as I should. I insisted on self discharge rather than stay overnight.
I would like to apologise for my behaviour.
In defense of my action I would say that I have an irrational fear of dying in hospital.
Can my apologies be forwarded to the staff who were on duty in Beech Ward on Monday evening 17/07/2023.
5* care and treatment
Although i was in a&e for 12 hours it was because I had to wait for results of 3 blood tests plus treatment for high potassium levels
I was seen by doctors and the treatment was done quickly

We had to go via A&E to be admitted, even though the consultant had already seen my wife privately at Holly Hospital. My wife was dreading this, expecting to be kept waiting for hours. We were pleasantly surprised to be processed through A&E and admitted to Ash ward within a couple of hours of arriving. Everyone concerned was courteous and knew what needed to be done!
I arrived at Urgent Care Centre at 9am and was told I probably needed to go to Queens as I am 25 weeks pregnant. I was sent to A&E and made to wait the whole day before being transferred to Queens at 11pm.
I was there gor scan in emergency..n all staff was v friendly ,....there was not much wait....i m v happy
