The reason for the drop in the star rating was two fold. 1. I was told that my case would be discussed with the anaesthetist because of my BMI. I was told that unless I heard otherwise before my operation in one week's time all was well. In order to avoid anxiety through uncertainty I believe it would have been better to have been informed of the go ahead for the operation as soon as this was known. 2. Two nurses on my first day were unhelpful, rude and inattentive when I needed help. I later found out they were agency staff and one of them had upset a female patient. I have suggested that greater care and supervision is needed when employing unknown agency staff.
