Staff at the hospital were very helpful and knowledgeable, couldn’t find anything to be unhappy about
I did have a bit of a journey to get my referral accepted. As the triage nurse originally rejected me due to having breast cancer last year. To be fair she said there was not enough information regarding that treatment, but I suggest trying to find out more by contacting the patient may help.
The anaesthetic staff were wonderful, as a bit nervous about spinal and needles due to previous chemotherapy. They were brilliant.
The general staff were always friendly. Inpatient nurses helpful and supportive.
I liked the portal when used.
I did find it a bit disconcerting when they kept asking me if I was NHS, especially during my stay, as already booked in.
The physio care could have given more written information as found more support on a NHS website regarding rehabilitation exercises.
However everyone was friendly & courteous which helps when having any medical procedures and my result is a new knee without the worry of delays.
Thank you for your care & grateful that you do treat NHS patients
Would highly recommend Kim's hospital
I have used KIMS twice in the last two years and I have been delighted on both occasions with the care and diagnostics I have received.
Everything runs smoothly, appointments are readily available and staff are charming and professional. You get what you pay for!!
KIMS Is a lovely hospital the reception team greet you with a warm welcome when you enter. I came as a day patient and from the pre assessment team to the theatre team and the staff on the ward and the catering team I can not fault any of them. They made you feel at ease the whole time and spoke you through everything.
I went to KIMS as an NHS patient for a knee operation. My treatment at the hospital by all staff was profession but friendly, efficient and courteous. The hospital was clean, welcoming and had plenty of parking. There was effective communication from the hospital to myself…and there was no crowding or waiting around for hours. A really pleasant experience.
Great service and facilities throughout
As is the way with hospitals, you are woken at random times for various tests, pills and reports, but always done in the gentlest least intrusive way. I woke at 4am on my discharge day, showered and dressed, was doing a crossword when a nurse stuck her head in and said, Hello early bird, fancy a cuppa? How lovely..
Kims hospital and all the people I encountered there were first class. I was a day patient. Special thanks to Charlotte, my nurse. She was compassionate, kind and caring. She answered my questions with clear and consise answers. I couldn't fault her care and know that she greatly help me make a good recovery.
From the ease of completing my on line assessment to a face to face appointment
My care has been nothing been nothing other than a high standard.
Clare the nursing apprentice was excellent
The porters were excellent and the theatre team and Anaesthetist
Facilities and food was also of a very high standard
Thank you for making my stay and procedure very slick and stress free
