Medical gaslighting - symptoms get dismissed,
Got sent over by GP after raising red flags with lower back back that started over a week ago, and has got worse now having pain up back, neck, arms, hands, legs and feet with change of sensations and feeling of weakness.
got to A+E,
Triaged etc all good, had a bladder scan which was normal which I knew it would be - I have no problem toileting,
Doctor then called me in:
Bladder scan fine - so discharged with pain relief, “I’ll prescribe 5 days worth but only take for 3 days ? So left A+E after being discharged, still in agony, unable to move freely still and on and off tears because of the pain. To go back to GP if no better? So they will probably send me back to A+E?
