The staff working in the Accident and Emergency Pod during the morning of Thursday 8th December were amazing. Vida (Healthcare Assistant) was kind and supportive of my partner and myself during the course of his stay there. She was polite and respectful and able to show compassion when it was needed the most. I would also like to thank the Pod’s Discharge Coordinator, Alice for supporting my partner during this very difficult time. She listened and supported him, doing what she could to ease the difficulties he faced. I’m sure they will keep proving a valuable service to the Department and more generally, the Hospital. It’s considerate people like these who keep staff and patient morale high.
