Staff were, without exception, courteous and caring. The ward bay was kept scrupulously clean. On one or two occasions I felt that staff were "chasing their tails" and things might have happened more quickly had they concentrated on the task in hand. During my stay I had a three way catheter. Some simple measures would make it much easier for mobile patients. Firstly a hook at the right level on the mobile platform for the catheter bag would make it much easier to move around. Secondly please make sure that the wheels work: of the two I had one was near impossible, the other was difficult. There is also nowhere in the toilets/washrooms to hang catheter bags. I put mine variously on the basin waste pipe, the rubbish bin and the disability handle. These are small matters and I do not want to sound critical of what was very good care. On the other hand I think that they would be relatively easy to put right.
