I can do nothing but praise everybody that were involved in my treatment whilst in Canterbury Hospital. From Cleaning , Catering, and Nursing staff. To Doctors, Consultants and Surgeons. Care could not have been better. I am now free from cancer and looking forward to a great future.
Thank You
A good experience through out
the team of the St. Lawrence Ward were brilliant, in particular Nurse Sandra that care for me on my lowest point after the operation.
I had eye surgery in The Opthalmology Theatre Suite yesterday. I cannot praise enough every single member of the team. From the lady at the top Miss Albena through her entire team including admin staff. They were professional, kind, and funny. There was no possibility of social distancing under these circumstances but they did anything and everything with a smile and kind words. We are so fortunate to have such truly dedicated people caring for us during this very difficult Corona Virus pandemic. I hope and pray that these wonderful people and their families stay safe and healthy. Thank you to you all. God bless the NHS.
This review relates entirely to my experience in day surgery on the 30-1-2020. I had exemplary care from the moment I entered the building. I was cared for by Sheeja and prepped for my surgery. I had a long discussion with my surgeon Mr Mohamed Ismail, who answered all of my questions with patience and understanding and allayed any of my concerns. I then met my anaesthetist Dayana (my apologies if I have not spelt your name correctly) who offered solutions to prevent post operation side effects that I have experienced in the past, which worked a treat! I then went into the care of Rachel and Philip, the nurses who took me through from the point of anaesthetic to recovery. My care continued back in the day surgery unit and I was given medication promptly when needed and support and information from the nursing team. I was discharged after speaking with my surgeon about the procedure and what would happen next and receiving my paperwork. A seamless process in which I felt cared for and valued throughout. Thank you so much to all who contributed to my care, I would recommend this service to everyone.
I was operated on by Mr Thomas to remove my left kidney and ureter which was cancerous. I spent 4 days in the ITU ward with what I would say was superb treatment,
Everybody was so nice and very professional in their duties. They couldn’t have been any kinder if they tried.
DONE
I recently had robotic partial nephrectomy. My care from beginning to end has been amazing. Mr Thomasp and his team, made me fully aware of what to expect pre, during and post operation. Putting myself and my family’s minds at ease. The whole experience, although being a major operation went as planned with me only having to stay in hospital for one night The operation was four weeks ago and I am feeling great.
Overall good
I found all the medical staff in the urology department excellent in all respects and was treated with top class care from all staff with everything they carried out being carefully explained and done
All other staff, cleaners, catering staff etc were very competent and friendly at all times.
