Admitted. Patient X opposite used vape in the bay. Staff told X AFTER vaping not allowed in ward. X foul -mouthed. Nothing said about stream of expletives. Staff regularly took X off ward to satisfy smoking habit. Incompetent phlebotomist who could not find vein for my cannula talked to attention -seeking manipulative X instead of concentrating on me and then made X cup of tea although not tea time. Next bed 6 noisy visitors despite notice on door strictly 2 visitors only. Nobody in charge. Nobody accepts responsibility. Foul language and endangering health of patients tolerated. Wimp matron promised action and did nothing. Appoint matron with authority. Appoint ward sisters with the bottle to deal with scum like X and yob visitors. Station muscular security staff on every ward to support staff in enforcement of rules As it stands this hospital is a disgraceful danger to health
