I felt the overall care from the staff was very good. As a first time atient I was very worried when I first came in but they all made me feel safe and settled very quickly. I did have a problem socialising as I am inherently shy around people I don't know. They did push me into social situations I wasn't comfortable with but I do understand the reasons behind that. But once they understood why I felt uncomfortable around other patients we reached a happy medium. I do feel my discharge was way too early and still worry that my issues will have me back there again sooner rather than later. I feel the nursing staff felt I should have stayed longer, but the consultant psychiatrist felt I should be discharged. I did feel safe in Huntlyburn and felt there was always someone there ready to talk or listen. Thanks for all your help.
