I cannot praise the staff enough for the care given today.
During the day I had contact with an excellent 3rd year student, a nurse, two doctors and a consultant whilst in the elderly care section. From the first moment of admission from an ambulance, we were treated with respect and a great understanding of the issues faced by patients with dementia/reduced cognitive understanding.
Throughout the experience we were kept informed of the next steps in the care process and, as the carer, I received advice, support and information that has helped me in making decisions about the future.
