I could never hope for better service - all members of staff have shown great care, compassion and kindness at all times. Their dedication is unquestionable as is that of all the amazing volunteers. Together they make each visit to Day Care an absolute joy no matter how I may be feeling. - they brighten an otherwise grey and uncertain future for me.
The only thing that would make the service even better would be an extra hour each week !
Just keep on doing what you are doing now - thank you all so very much.
I attend the day care centre once a week and have found all staff and volunteers very supportive and caring. My wife and I are involved in all decisions and discussions concerning my care. I cannot spend too highly of all concerned.
As a carer I felt very supported and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. My husband (the patient) and I were involved in all aspects of his care and my well being.
Everyone very kind.
Attention to all who things that a person who had been very 'down in the dumps' had been experiencing and being kindness and understanding.
It makes us feel part of society again and not forgotten!
Nothing's too much trouble.
Very reassured that he couldn't be in better hands
Thank you - gives a day of no worry.
Have found the care & support extremely special. The nurses are a joy and truly lovely people.
Attending the Day Care Unit on a weekly basis is something I look forward to.
The centre is an absolute gem.
Care I recieved was very good and there was no need for it to be improved. My diet is catered for as I am lactose intolerant the only thing I need to take is my own soya milk as that is only provided for in patients.
Overall my experiences at hospice have been very good.
The occasion for patient and care to have a short respite from each other once a week. If 10am-3pm could be extended by a couple of hours the carer's free time could be used for a greater variety of activities.
