Everything was perfect.
despite going to breast clinique and worrying a bit/ i had most pleasent time , Mr. Kaplaln have amazing approach to the patient and fantastic personality, well done
I feel very fortunate to have had mr {} and Wendy {} supporting me through this experience. Nothing was too much trouble and my care was organised quickly and efficiently.
Whilst hospital staff are trying their best despite increase budget cuts the arrangement for patient transport is appalling.
There is clearly a serious problem with communication. My elderly missed one of the already measly 8 Pain Management sessions due to someone in the transport telling her transport had not been arranged only after I called to find out where transport was. They told us there was no transport arranged because there was no session however when she managed to attend a recent session we were told there had bbeen a session which they would be unable to repeat. To add insult to injury she then had to wait half an hour for a return journey only to have a half full car with a driver appear expecting us to fit in along with her walker which is totally ridiculous given her transport notes clearly state she requires an ambulance.
When I called transport directly asking them to sort it out all we received was a pathetic 'sorry' they were doing their best which is highly disturbing if expecting an elderly woman with limited mobility to wait an hour to return home squeezed into a car is their best we would prefer arranging our own transport to keep our sanity.
From first diagnosis the treatment has been excellent. Mr Chakraborty performed a LICAP breast cancer operation and the result is amazing. We trusted each other. I can't speak highly enough of the result. I wish more women are in the position I was. The breast care nurses are very caring and always available. I did find the information given about radiotherapy at the clinic did not go into enough detail as the info given in the radiotherapy dept. I feel the blue leaflet needs to be more helpful. The care at {} was good.
Everyone is lovely, helpful and friendly.
I really don't know how this service could be improved. Everyone, including the clinic receptionists, treated me with care and sensitivity. Although male and having breast cancer I could have been seen as abnormal, but I wasn't. The whole medical team have been fantastic in making me feel like the individual I am not just another person on a conveyor belt. Well done everyone.
More funding is needed. Staff are pushed to the limit!
Having been diagnosed with breast cancer in Jan 2017, I was placed under Dr Chakravorty's care at Hillingdon Hospital. I found him and the breast nurse specialist (Terry-Anne) to be genuine, sincere and felt that they truly cared. I feel all the advice and decisions were correct and time was taken to explain these and the reasons behind them, at an extremely emotional and confusing time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the care and treatment offered by this Doctor and his team, they truly are exceptional.
It would be great if someone is aware how long waiting time is left by having a digital numbering display system, to enable patient, carer or guardian, to know how long it's going to take to see the doctor since parking is time and money.
