Goring Hall Hospital is a very clean professionally run hospital, with staff who are very welcoming and friendly as well as very professional and caring. I was made to feel completely at ease right from the start of my stay through to the time I was discharged...I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone undergoing treatment.

I am a 85 year old man.who was in the most terrible pain ,unable to leave the house My concern was at my age little could be done for me, I went to see Mr Shah at Goring Hall,to be told he could do a hip replacement for me. I had the hip replacement and was in hospital for 3 days, I have had my life turned around since this operation.it is only 7 weeks ago ,and I now go out for short walks every day ,and now trying to leave my sticks at home. The care I received from Mr Shah and his team ,and the very caring nursing staff was Excellent, My only concern I felt two phone calls from the physio when I got home was not sufficient enough physiotherapy. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Shah to anybody that needs a hip replacement Regardless of age. Ray Rota

All the staff I encountered during my time at Goring Hall hospital were kind, courteous, professional and friendly. I felt at ease during my stay and all my needs were met. I include ALL the staff with this review, catering, porter, nursing staff, physiotherapists, cleaners, administration etc. They all gave me confidence in their abilities to carry our their respective roles. Thank you for making my stay as pleasant as it could be.

I needed YAG capsulotomy after cataract surgery. Was on NHS waiting list, but no idea when would be seen. Looked to go private and BMI Goring Hall quoted attractive price of £400-450 on the phone so went ahead. Procedure went well, with consultant agreeing I needed the YAG. After procedure received bill of £350 from consultant which I paid, followed by another unexpected bill from BMI for additional £300 for “hospital fees”. BMI claimed afterwards that I should get 2 bills and that £650 was the upper limit of the range they quoted to include any follow-on tests, of which there were none. No mention of “hospital fees” originally from BMI. Warning to anyone considering BMI – get a written confirmation from BMI of maximum price of a procedure, or you might get stung like I did.

Overall a comfortable overnight stay ....but the door closers need attention.

Had physiotherapy from Terry he did a fantastic job restoring mobility and alleviating pain. He was very personable and made me feel comfortable for the duration of my course of treatment. The treatment was not without a degree of pain but was well worth the discomfort for the results achieved. I wholeheartedly recommend this service.
