They were supposed to be waiting for us due to the fact we were sent by our GP, nobody knew anything, nobody provided any information. Extremely long time waiting.

Time- They need to speed up and see patients quicker.

The midwives and consultants were great.. I felt involved in decisions and kept informed. They genuinely seemed to care about me and my little one, even coming to check on us in the ward 2 days after delivery to see us. I woukd highly recommend the services here to anyone.

Apart from being 15 minutes late in seeing me the appointment went well with follow ups arranged. The "consulting" area was a little public bearing in mind I had to completely disrobe to underwear, but at least there were curtains. However my examination included some manipulation of an arthritic joint causing some distress which made me groan some! If examinations of my type, when some pain is inevitable it would better fi possible to carry them out in a more private setting. However I can understand the difficulty when I suppose space is at a premium.

This is a wonderful service. We visited on the day of a doctor strike, The co-ordinator telephoned me the day prior to the appointment, (This was the same day as my GP referred my mother), She explained the situation to me and was very apologetic. I was told that I would receive a telephone call the next day by 10,30 to let me know if it was possible for my mothers appointment to go ahead, By 10am I had heard that my mothers appointment would be going ahead. From the time we arrived in the rehab department the service could not be faulted. Every department we visited x Ray and the vascular lab on 9a the same v good service was received. I can thank this service the consultant and all the staff involved in this service enough. Less than 48hrs after my mother having a Tia my mother had been seen and received this service, And this was as I said at a difficult time for the senior Drs, Thank you,

The nurses in ward 2a were friendly helpful and caring. I'd like to specifically mention Rita and Miranda who completely put me at ease and were very attentive and knowledgable. Thank you for the care I received yesterday. Krista.
