7th June 2016

I was recently, Sunday 5th to Monday 6th of June, in Ward 2b of the hospital, for the removal of a piece of Mussel shell from my esophagus. From entering A&E until leaving on the afternoon of the Monday. Throughout I was treated with great care and kindness. All the staff on the ward were brilliant and took the greatest care to ensure that my stay was stress free. The surgical staff, led by Mr Osborne and the anesthetist Mel (?) were brilliant and gave great confidence. The whole team down in Theatre made it a very pleasant, if that is the right word to use, experience. I cannot commend them to highly. If did have a complaint it has nothing to do with my treatment or the staff, but the hospital does need to keep it's surrounding area and entrances much cleaner, first impressions do count. Yours Sincerely Edward Tassell.
