Ward 3a I recently spent 3 nights in the care of Ward 3a of Glos. Royal Hospital after having surgery on a broken femur. Having been discharged, I would really like to express what a great service I received. All of the staff within the ward (it will be unfair to single out individuals as they all were brilliant) were friendly, professional, knowledgable and went above and beyond to provide an excellent patient experience. My injury required major surgery and subsequently I was in a lot of pain, but the nurses were very positive and nothing seemed too much trouble. I was seen to regularly, assisted within good time, and I was get up to date on everything. I was very impressed with how organised the ward was, under the careful guidance of Wesley, and all staff seemed to work really well as a team. This again helped to make the patient experience even better. I cannot praise the staff of Ward 3a enough; they are a shining example of how well an NHS hospital ward should be run. They should all be very proud of their efforts. Keep up the great work!!
