Appointment for CT scan on Monday evening 14th August, despite having a bit of an anxiety attack, staff very reassuring & friendly. I would like to pass on many thanks to the staff who looked after me, overall treatment first class
The whole NHS in Wales is dysfunctional. 4 hour wait for a ambulance for a suspected repeat CVA.
Nine hour wait in ambulance in ED ambulance parking.
A further 33 hours on a trolley in Minors....
Dysfunctional.
Next time it will be significantly quicker for me to drive to Rhyl, pick up patient, drive back to Manchester and get treated at MFT.
I know because I've done it before...successfully. Want evidence?
I waited 12 hours to be seen by a doctor
I have recently been a patient for 12 days. All the staff were kind, caring, helpful and friendly, Nurses took time to explain things and I was offered a nebulizer to help my breathing. I felt that the staff were looking out for things that could improve my stay and help with my condition.
Attended to glan clwyd at 12am with a damaged foot they told me minor injuries have gone home and to come back in the morning or go to mold hospital went to mold hospital and they are closed on weekends
Went back to glan clwyd and they basically turned me away and told me to go to Llandudno hospital
I was in A&E on Monday 20th February, seen treated and out within an hour. Good care and a very reassuring discussion. Nurse Pratctioner Christina was excellent.
I was admitted to the hospital on 25th December, first may I thank and praise the ambulance crew (paul and Hannah) for their care and reassurance and timely intervention, two of the call handlers suggested a wait of four hours and as I was having a heart attack this was unacceptable to my sister who rang again and spoke to Colin who acted upon the telephone call and an ambulance arrived within twenty minutes.
I was taken to Glan Clwyd hospital and seen within twenty minutes and transferred to CCU. The staff were simply amazing and so caring. Dr. Khider and his team were also so caring and I was given stents and returned to CCU and treated with the utmost care and I cannot thank the staff enough. Karen especially was simply wonderful and reassuring. Whilst there I was seen by the diabetic nurse who really understood my situation and was treated accordingly. At all times I felt safe and cared for.
The only thing that let the hospital down was the discharge suite a souless morgue of a place where patients are left looking at blank walls in a dismal waiting room a television or some reading material would help.
I went to a and e with a bad nose bleed which required cauterization this was done with no problem, with the doctor explaining the problem every step of the way. All the staff from reception to the nose and throat clinic were all lovely and they work really hard and pleasent to everyone.
I am writing as I have previously been at the hosital with my 15month old little girl, the doctor who seen us was absolutely amazing!! He made myself and most importantly my little girl feel safe and cared for. I wish I remembered his name as this review is to say thank you to him and the staff of nurses who were on that day. Thank you all again for everything.
Saw Taylor in audiology 9am Wednesday 7 September 2022. Very well looked after by him and by reception - polite, clear, professional, helpful. He advised me I was due to have an upgrade if hearing aids which I wasn’t expecting. Long live and thumbs up for the NGS!!
