I am happy to be a GE Hospital patient for any medical issues I’ve had over the years.
I wouldn’t want to be treated at any other hospital.
I go a cancellation and I was treated with great care by all the staff at the George Elliot hospital, the areas were clean and tidy and I didn’t have to wait long to be seen, they appointment from start to finish was outstanding ( one of the best I’ve had to be fair) thanks
All the staff that attended to me before during and after my operation were lovely, I felt well looked after and will always recommend this hospital
I have been treated by George Eliot for many years for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Chronic Lymphoma Leukaemia. I have not needed medication for the Arthritis for many years but I am on daily chemotherapy tablets for the Leukaemia, which is going very well. These were the reasons behind my choosing the hospital for my hip surgery.
I cannot fault the service given to me by the doctors and nursing staff during the time I have been with the hospital and in particular during my recent surgery that involved a 4 day stay.
The whole experience from entry to the George Eliot hospital to leaving for home was once again trouble free.
Hospital visits are rarely high on anyone's wanted list but friendliness and an eagerness to help visitors are always on offer in order to settle any unwanted feelings of anxiety. All members of staff, whatever activity they perform, always deliver a level of service that belies the misguided comments frequently aimed at our health service in general.
Well done to the George Eliot Team, keep up the good work.
From consultants to cleaners, brilliant!
Excellent care and attention throughout my hospital stay.
Staff didn't always have enough time. Seemed to be running around alot
Everyone who cared for my baby was respectful, supportive and understood mine and my child's needs. The staff were always positive and looked out for the welfare and safety of my child which I am thankful for.
The Ward was a small unit of about 6 beds. It was generally clean and hygiene was observed. The Staff were very professional and approachable. Always had the time, even though it was obvious they were very stretched. My only negative observation is that I waited 12 hours to be discharged, with no discernible information being available for the Ward Staff. In the end they kept me in another night as the Pharmacy was then closed. I thought this was ‘bed blocking’ and inefficient as I know beds were gold dust.
Also, obviously it was very frustrating as by that time you just want to get home. But, in hindsight this is a trivial and small thing and impacted on you and your bed situation more than me. Thank you once again for your impeccible care.
