The prime benefit of this hospital is it's local, the next (either Kendal or Lancaster) and a significant drive away, and car parking at Lancaster is the pits! Furness General does most of what it does pretty well, appears to be reasonably organised and appointments come close to running on time (a snapshot of the last half a dozen occasions I have been either on my own or with family)
