My friend just came out of hospital, a lot worse than she came in. Food and drink were often left out of reach. The patient was being washed in bed with staff talking to each other and completely ignoring her. Nights were disturbed by members of staff moving a table and chairs into the ward and sitting there all night talking and laughing. There was no care, no dignity.
