I was astounded by number of people standing in the reception waiting room due to lack of seating/too many patients and escorts all attending at the same time. I understand there may be a medical/clinical need to assess the patients and prioritise them. Would it be more practical to stagger the attendance time by the hour. This would considerably ease congestion in the waiting room and outside the hospital where large numbers of cars are seeking parking places. By nature of the medical condition being addressed, the greater number of the patients are elderly. It was a matter of concern to see so many elderly people without seats.
