Not enough nurses to care effectively buzzers unanswered for several minutes. Some nurses and ward staff walked past them on more than one occasion. Such a shame that a few staff let the others down the majority are outstanding in their care and attitude towards patients whilst one or two just seem to be there to pass time
- Friendly
- informative
- Happy to help me get home and come back tomorrow for follow up checks
- Good food!
Brilliant! both on the ward and in the delivery room couldn't have asked for a better level of care. Thank you!
The day of the c-section I felt very well cared for. Everything was clearly explained and all the health professionals came to introduce themselves and explained their involvement. The whole procedure was straight forward, well planned and as calm and relaxed as possible. Soon after the c-section I was encouraged and supported to breast feed. Our baby appeared to do ok feeding for the first 24 hrs. During the second night I was moved to my own room. The babes cot was high and the bed was low. The only way of reaching my baby was to stand. I was really struggling with pain following the c-section throughout the night and found it difficult to get up and down. I asked for more pain relief so I could attend to my baby but this took ages to come
I was looked after 2 by female nurses and a male nurse all was really nice and I have been well looked after
Thank you R. Rowlinson
