Hayley listened to what we had to say & after assessing Sadie gave us some positions to work on at home to strengthen our daughter’s leg muscles. She also gave us the option for her to come to our home to do some sessions with her there.

My appointment was on time. I had everything explained to me as to what I should do.

I was seen within minutes of my arrival in and E. Everyone was kind and cheerful and explained what they were doing. I was told what was happening and where I was being taken for each part of the investigation. I was spoken to by my first name in all but one of my many sessions of questioning. I was told when something may hurt a little but it never did. I had been in A and E since 8. 45 a.m. and was offered a lunch just before 12 noon. I accepted as I did not know how long I would be there. The lunch was good and just what I needed. The doctor who saw me at the end of the investigations explained and summarised my results and left me with a positive comment.

I saw a few different people but I didn't always know what position they held. They would say their name but it was not clear whether they were nurses or doctors or students. One of them talked to the doctor over me and addressed me throughout as "she" instead of using "you" or my first name when summarising what I had told him.
