Because they wouldint let me see a doctor about my medication for my mentel health all the did was get in contact with the chrisis team which I declined because I had been trying them for 3 days but didint want to help me so it would have been a waste of time staying but was shocked when a/e contacted the police more problems cheers a/e for interfering I'm stead of helping me but that's life.
Staff very friendly made me feel at ease , place was clean , never had long time to wait for procedure,
On arrival at A&E I was asked some questions by a very competent young lady. After a short wait I was seen by a young lady doctor who gave me a thorough examination. I was worried as I thought I had dislocated my hip but she assured me it wasn’t. Just to make sure she decided to send me for an X-ray which concluded her thoughts.
She quickly prescribed me pain killers and told me I must not hesitate to return to A&E if my pain was under control or if I was concerned about my injury.
I can honestly say I was extremely satisfied with the service I received.
I arrived at A&E at 1.15 PM on Wednesday and I was still sat there at 6Am on Thursday morning
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Staff were helpful, doctors not so much.
Dirty and smelly.
Nurses were trying their best and were very lovely, I felt sorry for them and the environment they were attempting to work in.
There were puppy pads all over the floor in reception obviously to cover stuff but not cleaned?
Cobwebs all over the ceiling. Walls were filthy.
Hopefully got to the route of a prolonged problem
Long waiting times. 5 hours. Told I needed eye pressure checking Incase I had an acute glaucoma then sent home. Told that the ophthalmologist would ring me to sort it out. 24 hours later I’m still waiting for a phone call.
I was running late due to traffic diversions. Staff were very pleasant & had a professional manner.
As a chronically ill patient my condition is never taken seriously every time I go into a flare up that I can’t get under control I just get gas lighted no comfort no communication just told to sit and wait so I discharged myself, my nurse failed my cannula 4 times and now my hand is swollen and bruised in which I did not need a cannula in the first place, I was not treated with respect however the receptionist were more understanding in helping me than the nurses
