My husband was taken to A & E at DRI . The staff were definitely over worked and struggling to keep up with demand. My husband was a suspected stroke patient. The attention he had on his arrival was brilliant but then he was kept on a hard stretcher bed from mid afternoon until 11 30 at night when he was transferred to a proper bed just minutes before he was eventually found a bed on Ward 16. This ward was absolutely fantastic with him. The care and compassion they show on this ward is brilliant. Thank you Ward 16
Suggested improvements
Employ more staff and then he staff could maybe give more time and care to the patients
