We were referred to the childrens ED unit where it was very bisy the waiting room was full of people with extra people in their party and no one told them to leave so myself and my child were not able to sit down. There was also water abd food all over the floor it was very dirty
Patient focused from admission to discharge with follow up phone call
I was on the endocrine day unit at DRI 2nd May. The staff was absolutely amazing. The staff provided outstanding care and was very compassionate. I am very difficult to canulate but they persevered and got the job done. They worked brilliantly together as a team to ensure patient care was there. They are a great asset to the hospital and would be grateful if you could pass my review onto the.
I was treated with respect and spoken to kindly although my treatment took a few hours to complete I can’t complain about the treatment I received
Consultant and nurse very friendly. A history and examination was carried out but no treatment plan or diagnosis could be made as MRI images from November and April were not available.
I will receive another appointment when images are available. This is disappointing as I live nearly an hour away. My husband has Dementia and I am his carer. I will have to arrange supervision for him whilst I attend another appointment. I remain in pain which was first reported to my GP in August 2023. It is extremely disappointing that time has been wasted from my point of view and from what of the hospital. The images should have been available.
We went to g5 for a surgical miscarriage procedure. Due to emergencies, I didn’t go down to theatre til late at night. The theatre staff was caring and supportive, making me feel safe and put me at ease. They really was amazing. Back on ward g5 was the night staff who was again really caring, supportive and helpful. The room we was in was clean and comfortable. From the moment I was took down to theatre to leaving the hospital I felt very looked after and grateful for all they had done to help me.
From minute one the Endoscopy Dept were on the ball, easy check in, excellent admin and patient care checks. The Colonoscopy team (Tony Chappell and all the team) were absolutely superb, they made the whole procedure comfortable and friendly, with a totally professional attitude, but relaxed atmosphere. Well done everyone
I felt looked after whilst on the ward, all staff that I met, nurses, doctors, domestics, HCA were all friendly and kind.
All the staff I met were caring, kind and professional
Care and staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for them and all staff are very friendly.
