I have had continual trapped nerve and back pain for over four years. What could be improve is help with the trapped nerve pain which doctors etc seem to push to one side. They do not appear to have an answer or discussion. Even though they know where the trapped nerve is. I had an MRI. The exercises have made me more flexible but the nerve pain is still there.

Response from Danetre Hospital

Unfortunately chronic pain (nerve pain) is not something that can be fixed or resolved. Having an MRI rules out need for surgery or RED flags. This patient would benefit from the Pain team. We do not have a name to discuss this with them. Physiotherapists are brilliant educators and explain this type of thing to patients as we have the time in our 1 hour new patient appointments. Our focus is function and this is what the patient has said he is moving better but the pain is unchanged. Pain team would see them about managing chronic pain once they have had conservative treatment
