[name removed] made my daughter and I feel totally at ease she was understanding and I was not afraid to be honest about how I was feeling and the decisions I had to make.

Suggested improvements
No. I was pleasantly surprised. I do not feel like it was a tick box meeting. [name removed] provided so much information and I was re-assured that I had options and that they would be catered for.

Response from Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Thank you for your feedback. Spiritual/faith or lack of faith are considered important when providing care to patients. This is an important factor we take into account when considering the most appropriate care or treatment for patients.

Response from Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the treatment offered did not make a difference. Unfortunately Lymphoedema cannot always be improved with the treatment being offered, but the team will make every effort to consider the safest and most appropriate treatment on an individual basis.

[name removed] has given excellent care, couldn't have asked for better

Suggested improvements
Dont feel that we have had enough help with eating problems, thought the hospital could have helped more.

Response from Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Thank you for your feedback, this has been shared with the Community team. Where the team identify a concern with a patients ability to eat either the physical act of eating or the inability to eat adequate amounts of food, this will be assessed initially and support requested from dieticians or speech and language therapists if it is a physical problem with swallowing. We endeavour to request help from other services when appropriate and we are sorry that you feel this did not happen on this occasion.
