During final 2 weeks or so of my late wife's life the Hospice At Home team were there providing several 3 hour periods of attendance giving my daughter and myself much needed respite. The team involved, from making the arrangements to those in attendance, were all very helpful, understanding, kind, and respectful. Without their support and that of other agencies such as Marie Curie and AgeUK Carers we would have struggled to cope with caring for my wife in a decent, respectful and proper manner.
Suggested improvements
My daughter and I were very pleased with the service provided by the Hospice At Home team and cannot think of how things could be improved. Increased funding could perhaps extend the service to more people but the quality of service was first rate.
