I had to fight to get the hospice team to attend, even though my mum had not eaten or drunk days and had cheyne- stages breathing. I was told sometimes have bad days. Mum died within 36 hours. Luckily had [name removed] {} and I had palliative care experience.

To have listened, to have actually attended, to have shown dignity and respect.
