I had my second baby in February and, once again, could not fault the pre and post-natal care I received from the midwives and staff both in the community and at the Countess. I had a fantastic midwife (Paula) on the labour ward and was able to have a lovely water birth which was exactly what I wanted to happen and she made it so easy for me. Our baby ended up having a couple of nights on the neo-natal ward and the staff there took amazing care of her. They explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. We both stayed in hospital for a week as she needed antibiotics and the staff on the post-natal ward were brilliant, really friendly and caring. This is my second experience of the labour and post-natal care at the Countess and I can honestly say I wouldn't find better care anywhere else. It has made our experience of pregnancy and birth such a positive one and I could not recommend the hospital more highly!
