I was given the option by my GP to have my baby at Chester or Leighton, I chose Chester due to having my other baby there and had fantastic experience on that passion. This time I seriously regretted the decision, I needed inducing early and was left for 2 days on maternity ward in non progressing labour and severe pain without any pain refielf as the labour ward was "busy" and they were giving priority to women coming in from home in labour.
My thoughts are that they are brilliant if you are having a normal pregnancy and delivery by a midwife but anything out of the norm consider going elsewhere.
