I have many concerns about the current way that the people of Somerton are being served by the Health Center; but this system of having a specialist from Yeovil hospital attend specific clinics, was excellent (possibly cutting out many middle men). The service I received was quick, giving me all the options, thus with expert support I was able to select the best treatment to suit the present state of my condition, within one week, including a visit to Yeovil for an x ray.
If we are having a shortage of doctors, making better use of these specialist practitioners, should not be considered as filling the gaps, but giving the patients a better and quicker service/treatment.
