Cannot express how grateful I am to jasmine Carter and Bec Lindford from maple team. My care from the two of them has been outstanding and has restored my faith in Yeovil maternity services after a traumatic experience two years ago. Thank you so much!
I attended a 45 min out-patient audiology appointment this morning with some trepidation, thanks to Covid, but was very pleased with the way I was treated by the Vietnamese audiology technician. He was polite, thorough and explained clearly what he was doing. This included a hearing test and resulted in my receiving 2 new and improved hearing aids that have already made a very positive contribution to my quality of life. I am most grateful.
Severe lack of coordination between radiology and orthopaedic department causing severe patient delays.
Why have an appointments system for one department but the other department doesn't coordinate with it.
Had an appointment for 11am, arrived at 10.45 and was told to go and have an X-ray, which wasn't mentioned when appointment was made, and when entering X-ray dept, was told one hours delay, which now impacts on the appointment with a specialist in the orthopaedic outpatients.
There was no notices in the orthopaedic dept stating which doctors had specific waiting times, and the reception staff had no clue .
Everybody I have met during this process has been so lovely. The walk-in clinic made me feel so much more relaxed at home knowing I could get help each day if required. Thank you so much!!

Received fantastic after care from leaving the hospital up until being discharged. All Midwife’s have treated me with respect and dignity and have been able to support us as a family and answer any question I have had.
The community midwife team have been fantastic. So supportive and reassuring throughout the whole process. I couldn’t recommend the care more highly and can’t thing of anything that could be improved. Thanks so much for all the support.
Reported Monday 24 Apr for appt at 8:30 saw Dr James Morton 11:30 same day.
He ordered a blood test after annal check of prostate gland and then arranged an outpatients appt for today Wed 1st May at Yeovil outpatients.
Today at 1500 hrs good an all clear from Dr from Pakistan in urology. Blood reading only 4. So many many thanks for a reception for speedy appt and Dr officially check at Yeovil NHS today.
P.S. Perhaps it was appropriate I was able to thank the Dr Urologist from Pakistan in Arabic and especially Dr Morton for his very prompt actions. Again many many thanks.Feeling good.
Kate was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. It was great to see her at Somerton, which is easier for me to get to.
Timely Michael is very knowledgeable and clear when explaining things.
