Very friendly, knowledgeable midwives/staff. very timely visits and easy access to availability for home visits and calls. Support/advice line is great for instant support. Overall very pleasant with the care and support we have received for baby and mother

Review of Antenatal (Community Midwifery)

I was advised not to ring the advice line on two occasions via my midwife, firstly to check for blood test results and secondly for a BP check - on both occasions I felt like I was being fobbed off, for my BP I was told to go a walk in centre. t would help if it was an experienced midwife who answered the phone rather than a student/trainee. Only had to relay info back to another part so feels like Chinese whispers. really disappointed in this service. Could be quite changes.

Being able to leave my door open and let the midwifes let themselves and trusting them was lovely and the care from everybody was great. Nothing could be improved for me.

It was nice seeing the same community midwife every week. I know not everyone has that when we had scans at the hospital the sonographies were really nice over reassuring. The antenatal classes we attended were helpful and informative.
