The two psychiatrists that have been handling my care, Dr Gray and Dr Matthews have been excellent, and are calm, discerning listeners with very strong medical knowledge. This is so encouraging from the patient's perspective in terms of really being listened to.
There needs to be a more proactive communication with individuals on a daily basis at the day hospital regarding information about when you are likely to next see the doctors, and about ensuring that your medication supplies are on track. This is also of key importantance with regards to managing expectations about prospective day of discharge.
