The Physiotherapy care was good with plenty of encouragement and support when needed. The senior Occupational Therapist was very helpful over sorting out my home problems in order to make it safer to suit my needs. Privacy at initial interview is essential but was lacking in my case. Day to day care was concerning as, there often seemed to be a lack of continuity and communication. More thought needs to go into this as very few of the staff completely understand or speak fluent English. Toilets used by temporary residents and visitors, need to be cleaned or checked at regular intervals. The one near the entrance from the car park, was often very unhygienic. The ingredients used in the menus were reasonable but very badly cooked. There was a lack of variety and meals were often cold especially at supper - 5pm. More fresh vegetables would be an advantage and a greater choice of sandwich fillings, soups and desserts. used in retation.
