The care that I have received has been of the highest professional calibre. I am kept well informed and each suggestion for my ongoing treatment is discussed in depth.
The staff who I see (Kelli and Wendy) are knowledgeable, courteous and friendly and I have every faith in their ability to care for me and my medical needs. I would therefore like to say a big thank you to both for everything that they've done.
I’ve been coming to the gp for 7 years about how I feel but have always just been fobbed off and given anti depressants or told is part of parenting, it’s nice to know why anti depressants didn’t t work for me and to know the 2 possible reasons as to why. I now feel like I have a sense of understanding why I feel the way I feel and also now I understand why I sometimes have my angry outbursts that I just can’t explain to anyway.
I was treated with respect.
Sharon was kind, caring and respectful of me. She made me feel safe and able to discuss what I needed to.
The Community OP services / Taylor Centre has gone so far downhill since the merger from SEPT to EPUT. I used to feel safe in their care, they helped me enormously before. But now I am having a bad relapse I am having a completely different experience. After nearly 3 years of asking for help I’m still not receiving adequate treatment from appropriately qualified staff.
I feel far from safe, I feel alone and terrified.
The whole experience of trying to get help from EPUT has been horrific, I wish I’d kept quiet and suffered in silence at home.
EPUT seems to be significantly under resourced. Staff are obviously under a huge amount of pressure, and almost seem to resent patients for needing help???
The majority of staff I have encountered seem to have no interest in treating you. Referrals are rejected for no reason, assessments say therapy isn’t suitable or available for my diagnosis. They just want you off the waiting lists and out of the door.
I understand we have been working through a pandemic which has had a massive impact across the NHS.
But please don’t make the patients suffer anymore than we already are. Please treat us like human beings, respect us and listen to us.
Be honest about the waiting times so we know what to expect. Be honest about the limited availability of services and staff. Don’t laughingly tell us that “you would be lucky to get that”, that feels insulting.
Please don’t deliver short cut care just to get through the backlog quicker. Don’t make us feel like we don’t deserve good quality care.
We do exist, we do matter and we do deserve the standards of care recommended by NHS guidelines.
Gves you initiating to move an excersice.
Kelly and Tracy have been fantastic, gave me the confidence and reassure to feel that I am back to my self. (Really appreciate them).
All my procedures were explained during my visits. The treatment I had was outstanding.
