I am so grateful for my time with Therapy For You. Maria was patient and empathetic towards the anxiety I was experiencing. I really benefited from the practicality of the therapy we did. The anxiety I was experiencing was happening now, I wanted to focus on now, not drag up childhood experiences. Each session had a clear structure, I knew what we would be talking about, and I had the time and space to bring up anything I felt I needed to. After our sessions I now feel more equipped to handle the anxiety I experience.

Although I appreciate that the waiting time was much shorter than other services, the wait was significant and difficult to deal with. I also made multiple phone calls to the service to check I was still on the waitlist. Although most of the time I spoke to someone who was really helpful, there was one phone call that frustrated me. I had informed the service of my availability, and I was offered an appointment that was out of that availability and in a location I would not have been able to commute to. I felt this oversight was frustrating, especially as it feels threatening to be told that you can only reject two offers.
