The staff I have spoken with in the Mental Health team have all been incredibly informative, kind and calm. I have been respected as a holistic person, rather than just a single symptom. I have appreciated very much the contrast between how I am usually treated to how I have been treated here. In particular Sophie and Carley have been brilliant, but so have any other team members I have so spoken with. I have had very negative experiences with other NHS professionals and this team has made me feel much safer and I wanted to make sure that their managers were aware how grateful I am to have been treated this way at a time where everyone knows how difficult it is to be an NHS professional. The quality of their service has been truly outstanding and I am very grateful to have been treated so well and been kept informed about the process of getting diagnosed and how I can be supported. Thank you.

Suggested improvements
The main improvements would come at a governmental level with funding to NHS services to be increased so you have the capacity to hire and train more professionals to continue this incredibly necessary service and alleviate the pressure on an already oversubscribed service. Other changes that need making are to the broader NHS with funding of more doctors and GPs to catch issues earlier on. This would mean people being paid a liveable and fair wage. I somehow doubt that is within the remit of this team.
