The care that I received from the Saphire Community Midwifes following the birth of my baby was second to none. Home visits were arranged immediately following a slightly prolonged stay in hospital, and I was in contact with the team thought my inpatient stay. My baby was then re-admitted to hospital with an infection at 8 days old and I received phone calls from the team to check on progress as well as to reassure me that on discharge I could request a visit on the day we went home if needed. Emma, Linda and Rita were a real lifeline during their visits and I felt exceptionally well cared for. Thanks you so much for making what was a stressful time a lot easier to cope with, and for the care and compassion shown at all times.
