Survey from patient - she thinks the phlebotomists who visit are absolutely brilliant - HCPs are very caring people and always help her.

No not now. The only thing that used to worry pt was getting her appointments booked In but now btlood test being done regularly she does not have an issue.

Patient wife stated that we are great full to have district nurses .they never let us down when ever we called they are here to help us.

The staff showed endless patience and cared deeply for me. They taught me so much and gave me the tools I need to be able to go forward, even though I still struggled with putting measures into practice by the time I left. I don’t know if I’ll ever fully recover but BEDS at least have me a fighting chance.

I didn’t always feel that my medical issues were taken seriously - there was a tendency to believe that I was just making excuses. Difficult though, because that is something I would do some of the time. But I did have genuine issues which are now being dealt with through the Gastrology Dept at Frimley Trust. Also, I think my treatment switched to “tough love too soon and too often. At the beginning of my treatment, I genuinely believed it would work and was taking huge steps forward. Once I started to feel that staff no longer believed in me and tried more ‘bullying tactics’ (all with the best -and kindest - of intentions), I started to give up hope. By the end, I felt that I had let everyone down and had failed, although I am still fighting to not go back to the state I was in before starting treatment.
