The doctors are very nice but look its taking forever for doctors to get things done, ive been living in a 3rd world country for 20 years and everything moves 10 times faster there. Blood tests done that day You see a specialest fast fast if thers a problem, On the other hand emergancy units are outstanding hear i wish the hole health care was run this way.

Mental health can be a torture keeping someone waiting 6mths for a face to face is a long time, I find phone calls and vidio calls about my problems unhelpfull.

My father is the patient. Most of the nurses were amazing. There was only one day that was challenging when after being told that my father was on palliative care, a new nurse and therapy nurse decided to try and get my father up and walk-in when he was so weak. He ordered a zimmer frame for my dad but I sent it back. Apart from that small episode, the rest of the care was outstanding.

Support eachother and communicate with eachother. [name removed] was correct when she diagnosed palliative. She arranged for [name removed] nurses to come in this Wednesday. Nobody told me that they were cancelled!! My father has now not eaten for 5 days. Very little fluid goes in despite my efforts. She was right.

I’m always aware how difficult a job the NHS has, I was pleased with my latest visit as it went smoothly.
