This is without doubt the best hospital i have ever been in. The American style service was very impressive however you do pay for it, but in a 5 star hotel you would pay more overlooking a city view it was fantastic. the food was absolutely different quality cooked with a what seemed to be a 5* chef as much as you wanted on time when greed and lovely and hot just right. The care of the nurses was fabulous in particular the nurse from Cleveland i forgot her name but lives in Kingston, a real Florence Nightingale. Professional great sense of humour. Lovely girl a gift to your organisation look after that one. A truly great stay, and so far a happy outcome. I came in for tests for a procedure on Monday. These questions dont really work for me. However, I was told the wrong venue for those tests and went to Portland place. I wasn't offered the shuttle so had to rush across town to Grovner. When I did arrive, flushed I used the toilet facility. The door miss functioned and opened whilst mid flow. Highly embarrassing and another patient had to stand in the doorway whilst I dressed myself. I reported the incident. After having my tests, i left and returned home. Approx 30mins after I left, I had a message saying I had an appointment at Grovner place ... 45mins ago! Panicked, i rang and asked what this was and that I wasn't aware of another appointment. After being passed around somewhat, i was eventually told that it was a mistake. This was not the care I had hoped and made me feel even more stressful about my up-and-coming procedure.

The experience from initial consultation with Dr Sporton to post procedure care was excellent. Paulo, Wilma and the whole team of nurses and caregivers were absolutely brilliant. Made to feel at ease, comfortable and above all confident with the whole process.
