This is my 8th stay. I was one of the early patients here and things have much improved Room much warmer. Was really cold earlier Food choices and food service much better Nursing care more patient focussed. In earlier days it was too focussed on the screen Nursing has been excellent throughout my stay. However pharmacy still tends to get confused over correct medications There are various design faults which continue to cause problems Water not quite hot enough Push button flushing mechanism on toilet is a real problem for an elderly patient with arthritic hands. The fact the door to the bathroom is open At the bottom means there is a lack of privacy when using the toilet if one has visitors in the room.

Suggested improvements
Pharmacy needs to get medication right Food service still has problems with getting orders correct. But much improved from previous visits. The first time I was admitted here at night it took over a month to get my card payment credited back. You said BUPA hadn’t paid you when they had. This time I understand it will be credited when BUPA pays you. It seems to me that once you have BUPA’s authorisation you should credit my account immediately


The standard of nursing . Everyone very efficient, friendly and caring. One feels safe and in good hands. The view from the 5th floor exceptional
