All clinicians with the exception of one health care assistant, were very skilled and proficient in the respective disciplines. I was very happy to be treated and cared for by them and had every confidence being in their hands. One night shift HCA was not as pro-active and competent as the others. Failed to measure my urine output as required, just poured it down the toilet! Taking my temperature, they were somewhat clumsy in making sure if was right in my mouth!

Catering - the menu was satisfactory. However, the soup was cold, and the poached eggs on advocado toast for breakfast were cold and put me off my breakfast. Small jug of milk provided to cater for teas and cereal - twice I had to chase more milk. A slice of bread came with my omlette, but no butter and when it did come it was rock hard! Bread asked for with the soup - they went off to get some, but never returned! The humus was meant to come with flat bread, but came with crackers, or very hard flat bread. Despite marmalade being on the tray, there was no toast or butter - so again had to chase. Each time I chased for something, it took ages for them to return if they returned at all. I was under the impression that the kitchens were on another floor, but told that they were on the same floor. Food pretty much came at designated time, but more often than not, the order was incomplete. In fact my partner gave up purchasing meals, and went to the cafe on the ground floor. From the onsent one allows for a mistake, however it became intolerable to even complain anymore as nothing improved.

All the clinicians, HCA's, Doctors, Physios, Nursing staff responsible for my care. They were exceptional. Special reference to Christopher the HCA on fourth floor - good luck with his career.
